1. Should I schedule an appointment with you before I verify my insurance coverage?

Answer: No. Before scheduling your appointment, please contact your insurance provider to confirm your co-pay amount, deductible, and coverage for Behavior Health Services. In some cases, prior authorization may be required.

2. How do I know if I have a co-pay or deductible?

Answer: Always call your insurance provider and verify your coverage.  Most often if you pay a deductible when you visit your primary care physician you will also have to pay a co-pay for Behavioral Health counseling.  Be sure to check to see if you have met your deductible.  If not, you will most likely have to pay for the session out-of-pocket.

3. What happens if my insurance company denies paying for the session?

Answer: If your insurance company denies your payment, you will be responsible for the FULL cost of the session.

4. Do you accept all insurance companies?

Answer: No. Since we do not accept all insurance companies, call your insurance company to verify your coverage as well as the mental health provider.

5. Will insurance companies pay for Behavioral Health services if there is not a mental health diagnosis?

Answer: No. Insurance companies will only pay for services if there is a mental health diagnosis.

6. Will you accept payment using my Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Card or my Healthcare Spending Account (HSA) Card?

Answer: Yes.  In most cases, we can process your payment using your FSA or HSA card either by phone or on our website.

7. Is there a No-Show fee?

Answer: Yes. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be required to pay a minimum $50 no show fee. The no show fee must be paid before you can be rescheduled.

8. What do I need to do to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Answer: To cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must contact us at least 24 hours in advance. If you paid online, payments are non-refundable. You can reschedule your appointment at no additional cost if requested at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
