Meet the Founders 

Hi, I am TeShaunda (Shawn) Hannor-Walker. I am a licensed clinical therapist, author, speaker, trainer,  Employee Assistance Specialist, and clinical supervisor. I am happily married to my husband, Jacque and the mother of an adult daughter.  I have over 14 years of experience in the field of counseling with experience working with children, adolescents, adult, and families in a variety of settings (i.e. K-12, community mental health, and private practice). While working in the K-12 setting, the American School Counselor’s Association (ASCA) named me “Top 10 School Counselor in America” in 2011.

In private practice, I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. I’ve helped many families and couples improve their relationship by using evidence-based methodologies that provide the most efficient and effective treatment possible.

I specialize in relationship/couple/marriage issues, divorce, sexual intimacy issues, communication and conflict, grief/bereavement, stress reduction, depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, women issues, workplace stress, parental issues, anger management, domestic violence, EAP services, and career counseling.  I also provide clinical supervision for individuals interested in earning their LPC in Georgia. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a Master of Science degree in Guidance and Counseling, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Human Services with a specialization in Counseling Studies. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia, a National Certified Counselor by the National Board of Certified Counselors, an Employee Assistance Specialist-Clinical, a Certified School Counselor (K-12), and Certified in Educational Leadership.  I provide trainings to educators and counseling professionals at state and national conferences. I am a member of several community and professional organizations.

I am the co-author of How to Raise a Successful Child with ADD, a graduate professor, and co-founder of Walker & Hannor-Walker, LLC, which offers educational and staff development training to schools, counseling professionals, and youth groups.

I am happily married to my husband, Jacque, who is charming, romantic, and has a great sense of humor. My husband is my best friend.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with family.

I am Jacque Walker, MS, EdS. I am the co-founder of Walker & Hannor-Walker, LLC Counseling and Consulting Services.  I am an author, anger management trainer, and leadership and education consultant.  I have over 20 years of leadership experience, which includes serving as a public-school administrator, high school counselor, and director on the post-secondary level. I am the co-author of How to Raise a Successful Child with ADD. I enjoy traveling nationally and internationally promoting and advocating for family and children issues in the areas of personal, social/emotional, and academic development. I am  a member of several professional organizations.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, a Master of Science degree in school counseling, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. I am state certified in school counseling, educational leadership, and anger management.

Internship/Training Opportunities:

Our clinical practice is also committed to training aspiring clinicians. Therefore, counseling interns and/or LAPCs may assist us as needed.
